Microblading is a semi-permanent make-up technique that consists of 3D hairstrokes that are placed by hand by means of an ultra sharp tiny blade. Ombré Powder Brows is a new semi-permanent make-up technique that is applied mechanically. This technique is applied with a machine needle. This gives you a soft and natural powder effect, which will save you a lot of time in the morning! The powder brow technique is suitable for all skin types. Microblading is slightly less suitable for people who have a combination / oily skin type.

HOW DOES THE OMBRE BROWS/MICROBLADING TREATMENT WORK?
When u have arrived, u can take a seat in the waiting area after you have registered at the registration column to let me know u are here 🙂
I’m coming to pick you up. In the salon I will discuss all your wishes again with you and give advice if needed, then I will start with the browmapping. I measure everything using various measuring instruments in order to create the ideal eyebrows that suit your face. I epilate the eyebrows if necessary and draw in the shape (and the color with pencil, only for ombre brows). You can then view this result in the mirror so that you can see the shape beforehand. If you have any comments, they will be discussed and adjustments can be made until the color and shape are to your liking.
If you agree, I will start the treatment. The treatment itself takes an average of 3 hours. Could run out of something. Always nice if you take a little longer into account and plan nothing after it if possible.
It is normal for the treated areas to appear darker, larger, and more saturated up to 7 days following your session. Do not pick at or aggressively rub your permanent makeup. Doing so can result in less than desirable results such as loss of pigment, scar tissue, or infection. Avoid tanning of any kind, swimming, saunas, sweating, or exfoliating for 7 days following your service. This is essentially considered an open wound for the first week. Please follow and take seriously the aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and lessen the risk of infection. Please do not use anything on your permanent makeup that was not provided or approved by your technician during the healing process. Please note: These services are considered tattoos so although numbing is applied throughout each service, discomfort/tenderness, redness, swelling, and sensitivity is a normal part of healing.
Cleanse eyebrows with antibacterial soap and rinse well with lukewarm water every other hour on Day 1. Use a q-tip or a clean finger to apply a thin layer of the provided aftercare balm after every cleanse or as needed on Day 1. Cleanse and apply balm 2-3 times a day as needed days 2-10. Keep brows well hydrated. Light flaking or patchiness is to be expected within the first week.
Tenderness/soreness, discomfort, and lymph drainage are normal reactions to the service.
DOES A FIRST UPDATE NEEDED?
A first side effect is necessary. Without the side effect, the result is visible for up to three months. After the first treatment, up to 70 percent of the treatment fades, after the touch-up 30 percent fades, so that in the end you have a natural result and can enjoy it for a long time.
This treatment takes place after 5-8 weeks. It is not possible to update earlier than five weeks because the eyebrows have not yet healed.
HEALING PROCESS OF THE OMBRE POWDER BROWS AND MICROBLADING
The eyebrows look very dark until they come into contact with water. After contact with water, they will start to shed, causing unevenness, spots, scabs and loss of pigment. This is normal and part of the healing process. It is no cause for alarm.
Try to touch it as little as possible so that it can heal nicely. The perfect end result is visible 90 days (it depends on your skintype and your aftercare, some people have their result after 30 days already) after the touch-up. The pigment needs time to move from the subcutaneous tissue back to the skin’s surface.
Day 1-4: very dark.
Day 5-10: Cracks and stains (no color visible under the cracks and stains).
Day 11-27: No visible color or shape.
Day 28-55: Color and shape begin to return.
Day 56: color and shape visible.
HOW LONG DOES OMBRE BROWS AND MICROBLADING LAST?
Powder Brows remain visible for about 3 to 4 years. We do recommend a touch up treatment after 1 to 1.5 years to maintain a sleek shape and beautiful color.
The aftercare for Powder Brows has a very large effect on the preservation of the pigment. That is why we always advise you to follow the aftercare very strictly. In addition, it also relies on sun damage, beauty treatments such as peels and micro-needling and the use of scrubs on your skin.
Mainly sun damage leads to a strong pigment loss of the permanent make up eyebrows. It is true that Ombré Powder Brows gradually fade and no bald areas will suddenly become visible with pigment loss.
CAN THIS TREATMENT APPLY TO ANYONE?
The treatments cannot be applied to pregnant women, patients with hepatitis, patients with diabetes, patients with cardiovascular diseases and people taking blood thinners. There should be four weeks between taking Accutane and applying the treatment. *healingprocess photocredits to izzy*
